FEMALE CHEF, AUTHOR AND MASTER OF INDIAN CUISINE

Female Chef Anjula Devi is best known for her extensive knowledge of spices, creating delicious authentic Indian cuisine. A respected food writer and author, Anjula started cooking with her father at the age of eight. At that time the ingredients for Indian cuisine were not as readily available as they are now and Anjula travelled on the number 207 bus with her father to Shepherd’s Bush Market where they would buy a selection of spices, fresh fish and Indian vegetables.

Some wonderful dishes on today’s menu at Old Trafford - 500 baby aubergines stuffed and smoked with Indian five spice ( cumin, nigella seeds, fennel, brown mustard seeds, and dry fenugreek leaves) fresh tomatoes, potatoes, and fried onions. All the Indian dishes cooked for the hospitality area at Manchester Inited is cooked from scratch and all the dishes have their own unique flavours. It’s always great working with chefs Tony, Alison and Josh. As you can see we are a happy lot! #oldtrafford #foodstagram #football #footballstadium #foodiesofinstagram #instagram #instagramers #foodstagram #indianfood @cheftagg #vegan #vegetarian #plantbased #aubergine #instavideos #hospitality #indianfood @tiktok

In our cooking lesson today, my clients tasted fresh paneer & spinach. Just a few spices are needed for this classic dish and the rest is all about the fresh ingredients - garlic, ginger, green chillies, spinach, fresh fenugreek and brown onions. If you’re looking for something really different and have always wanted to cook delicious Indian food you can find details on gift vouchers and cooking lessons just click on Anjuladevi.com in my bio. #cookinglessons #cookingclasses #christmas #christmasgifts #christmasgifts #giftvouchers #giftideas #cooking #instagram #instagramers #instavideo #foodies #foodiesofinstagram #foodstagram #indianfood #paneer #saag @jocorthorn0303 @lisahartshorn

As a kid I loved the weekends. Nutty brown butter wafting up to my bedroom was a sign that Dad was making aloo parathas for breakfast - stuffed Indian bread with delicately spiced creamy potatoes. Aloo paratha is one the most popular breakfast in the Punjab, India. It’s usually served with natural yogurt, Indian pickles and endless cups of masala tea. #nostalgia #childhoodmemories #instagram #instavideo #instavideos #aloo #paratha #indianfood #breakfast #vegetarian #india #foodiesofinstagram #foodies #chef #masalatea #punjabi #punjab

Crispy fried Palak (spinach) Chaat is a tantalising Indian street food, it’s sweet, sour, tangy, spicy, and crunchy flavours will have you craving for more. #foodstagram #indianfood #foodies #foodiesofinstagram #instagram #instavideo #spinach #vegetarian This snack can also be #vegan, simply replace the yogurt with a coconut chutney. #delicious #streetfood #streetfoodies #crunchy @sandraharveydesigns

If your travels ever take you to the South Indian state of Kerala, it won't be too long before you get hooked with this delicious cabbage thoran. I’ve added carrots and green beans to this recipe. Mildly spiced and vibrant this easy stir-fry retains the delicate taste of all the vegetables without drowning it in a host of spices and strong flavors. Served @manchesterunited this evening. #kerala #southindia #foodstagram #instagamer #instagram #instavideo #vegetarian #vegan #indianfood #cabbage #carrots #greenbeans #chef #foodhub #anjuladevi @cheftagg #foodforever #chefsmanifesto
